Cruise ships can be dangerous. Passengers often fall on slippery decks, get hurt during shore excursions, suffer burns, and can be treated improperly by crew, including assaults and sexual assaults. Crewmembers also experience similar injuries, and often are worked in violation of state and federal wage and hour laws. American Cruise Lines, Inc. is no different.
